A creative marketplace rooted in community
Last Saturday of every month.
Independent traders, handmade craft, vintage finds and street food fill St John's Church, its grounds and Glastonbury's Market Place. Live musicians and Mario Morris the Bardic Magician join us every month, with puppet shows, bubble performers and circus acts dropping in across the season. Here's what a day with us looks like.
Find upcoming dates, plan your visit, or get in touch with the team. Stallholders can also join the waiting list for automated cancellation notifications.
Stalls, faces, and the buzz across the church and grounds. Pulled straight from recent markets.
“A market is more than commerce, it's the soul of a town meeting itself on a Saturday morning.”, The Tor Collective
“I love trading at this market, the team are organised, innovative and always friendly and helpful and the location is lovely!”
“My Daughter and I have traded at 4 markets with the Tor collective now. They are so friendly, kind, encouraging and helpful. The markets are really well run and the organisers are always there ready to help out. It really is a wonderful day out for the visitors who are really engaged with the event and looking to buy. The onsite food and entertainment really make this market something special.”
“★★★★★ A really top quality independent art and craft market”
“★★★★★ An amazing market that is well organised and advertised. Organisers are really helpful and kind. Lovely atmosphere! 100% recommend.”
“★★★★★ Lots of local makers and unusual stands - sprinkled across town and packed into St John's Church (plus great cafe with lovely selection cakes and bacon butties).”
“Lovely experience. Professional and fun.”
“As a creator, I have followed The Tor Collective was thrilled to get the chance of a table cancellation! It was easy to contact Morgana via WhatsApp and she was friendly and reassuring (and especially sensitive to the many scams there are regarding event bookings these days). Organisation was seamless ; from directions, where to park, where to eat and every other practical consideration a seller could need. The day itself was a joy. The moment I arrived I saw Morgana, Jim and their other helpers in clearly branded T Shirts and was greeted with a big hug from Morgana. My neighbouring stall holders are really friendly and incredibly helpful. The footfall exceeded expectations due to the relentless promotion of the market on every conceivable local events platform, and the atmosphere was brilliant! I met all sorts of lovely people, had so much kind feedback and took some money!.....but to be honest it wouldn't have mattered if I hadn't ; it was a privelidge to be amongst like minded creators of such a high standard.....and now I know why there is a waiting list! Successful events don't just happen ; they take commitment and hard work and Morgana and Jim deserve every bit of The Tor Collective's success as it goes from strength to strength and is embraced by the wider trading community within Glastonbury town. Here's to many more!”
“I love this new set up and site, makes things so much easier, still more to explore but all good.”
