Community festival transforms the town centre with festive artisan stalls, live music across five stages, street entertainment, late-night shopping, and the official Christmas lights switch-on.

Event Schedule & Highlights

6:00 AM: Arrival from this time.
10:00 AM: Stalls and late-night shopping open across the town.
12:00 PM: Official opening ceremony by the Mayor at the Melodrome Stage.
5:00 PM: Christmas lights switch-on.
6:00 PM: Event concludes.

Set-up and pack-down information will come closer to the time. Please note that there will be no unloading from the church grounds during this event; the closest will be from St John's car park.

Red arrows are the offloading options. One is through the church, (steps) the other is through the alley and straight into the grounds.

Organiser approval required. No payment is taken when you apply. The organiser reviews every application and we'll email you either way, so please keep an eye on your inbox. If you're accepted, that email is where you accept or decline the pitch, and pay to secure it.

Returning stallholders only. To apply for this event you must have traded with us at least once before, at one of our previous markets or events.
