Terms and conditions

Cancellation policy – 10% fee for cancellations before 7 days & No refunds after 7 days if you can find someone to take your place, as long as they are insured and are event appropriate that is more than welcome. Transfers to a different date are treated as a cancelation, therefore require a 10% surcharge.

RULES:

  1. Abuse towards any stall holder, member of the public, Director, venue staff, or anyone employed by the collective will not be tolerated.
  2. Any volunteers helping at the events should be treated with the upmost respect, they are giving their time and energy freely, a thank you goes a long way.
  3. You must maintain a professional manner at events as it is a workplace and should be treated as such.
  4. We are a collective. The directors make the decisions but when it comes to the events, it is down to all of us to advertise and promote. This is to benefit your business, as with all businesses you have to advertise and promote.
  5. We work within competition laws. Anyone can have a stall unless there are restrictions from the venue. This is to follow the law, and more importantly to help and support new traders. We were all new once.
  6. Breaching rules will result in disciplinary action which is as follows.

    -verbal warning (valid for 12 months)

    -Second warning (valid for 12 months)

    -6 month event ban (upon return you will be on a 6 month written warning, if any further disciplinary actions are required in this period the directors will decide between another limited ban or may choose to give a lifetime ban)

    -Lifetime ban -[This is a last resort and is reserved for serious misconduct or criminal activity]

    – You may appeal a lifetime ban, this will involve a meeting with the directors where the matter will be discussed in a calm and constructive manner. A minimum of 30 days must have elapsed since the ban to allow tempers and emotions to cool.
